Authentic Youth Lawrence Timmons Jersey McShay didn’t give any particular reasoning for the selection other than (understandably) praising Goedert for his skills.

It isn’t a terrific tight end group this year, he wrote. But Goedert is the best one in this class. He’s still a little underrated and didn’t get a chance to shine at the Senior Bowl or combine because of injury. His pro day Authentic Peter Forsberg Jersey will be important. You don’t get too many two-way TEs coming out of college, but Goedert fits the bill. He’s got a big frame (6-4, 260) with good speed and can play in-line or detached.

Also helping Phillips is Stanford’s brand of intellectual brutality. It’s a term coined by current Cardinal head coach David Shaw, and a mentality Phillips hopes to bring to the NFL.

That’s actually how I play, Phillips said. I’m very intellectual and anticipate plays. Then when it comes down to it, I want to be violent and brutal.

How does he do it? Some of his success is simple to explain: Adams is a mammoth of a human being. Standing at 7-feet and weighing in at a solid 255-pounds, he is one of the more imposing centers in the league today. (Jimmy Butler, an extremely strong dude himself, said he thought his life was over after Adams hit him with a screen during a game this season.) It gives Adams the tools to be a one-man wrecking crew on the offensive glass because he can outmuscle just about anyone standing in his way.

I don’t think one man can stop [Adams] in the paint, Anthony told Katz. When he’s being aggressive and he’s going to the offensive glass, if it’s him versus you, you’re going to lose that battle every single time. It forces teams to bring two, three guys in the paint to try and keep him off the boards.

Don’t forget what happened to Monty Williams, said one NBA executive.
